Web Design
Web Design
The art of presentation of the content (in the format of hypertext or hypermedia) to the end user via the World Wide Web is known as web design. It is delivered to the end user through a Web browser or other web enabled software such as microblogging clients, internet television clients and RSS readers.
The sole target of search engine optimization and web development is to create a website. The entire mechanism involves the accumulation of the electronic files stored on the web server and delivering the content and the interactive features to the end user as web pages after the request is sent. Such interactive features include bit-mapped images (GIFs, JPEGs), text and forms that can be positioned on the page using HTML/XHTML/XML tags. Apart from this, web design also involves the presentation of complex media (like animations, videos, sounds, vectors graphics), which require plug-ins such as Java run-time environment, QuickTime, Adobe Flash, etc. (to name a few). While designing the web page, these plug-ins are embedded into the web page with the HTML/XHTML tags.
Kinds of web pages according to the Web design
On the basis of web designing, the web pages can be classified as static or dynamic. There are a slew of differences in the designing of web pages:
The content and the layout of the Static web page , once designed, won’t be changed, unless a human (programmer/ web master) makes any update to the pages manually. A simple HTML page can be cited as an example.
Dynamic pages, unlike the static web page, adapt their content or appearance, depending on the end user input data and changes in the computing environment (user, time, database modifications, etc.). The content of these dynamic pages can also be changed into DOM elements (DHTML) on the client side with the help of a client side scripting language (JavaScript, JScript, Actionscript, etc.). The content of these dynamic pages can also be compiled on the server, with the help of the server side scripting languages like (ColdFusion, Perl, PHP, ASP, JSP).
Difference between web design and web development
The advancement in the field of information technology has drawn a subtle demarcation between web design and web development.
austin web design involves the process of graphic design required for developing and styling of objects, which offer information and has a high level of visual qualities. On the other hand, the process of web programming focuses essentially on the functional features of a web site.
In web design , it can involve a number of interactive features like animation, authoring, communication design, graphic design, information architecture, annuel report design, brand indentity, seo content, photography, search engine optimization, human-computer interaction, and the use of a food photographer.
